Nature Magazine

This is the Nature Magazine that I made when using Adobe Photoshop. I learnt how to add layers - for example like when I added a glittery shimmer to the background of the magazine cover to make the background more intersesting. I also learnt how to take away colours such as taking away the white box that originally surrounded the bird flying to make the bird look realistic and also to make the magazine cover more realsitic. I learnt how to change the styles of the font and change the way they look by using the 'blending options' tool and using 'colour overlay' and 'stroke' to make the titles stand out to show how I am emphasising the Titles and Sub-headings to Catch the readers attention.

Preliminary Exercise

• Produce the front page of a new school/college magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and a masthead. Additionally, candidates must produce a mock-up if the layout of the contents page to demonstrate their grasp of the program.

Main Task

• Produce the front page, contents and double page spread of a new music magazine.

Note: All images and text must be original and produced by the candidate. Minimum of four images per candidate.
